Nova Linea Contemporary Dance - "Speak," an evening-length work, delves into the thoughts and emotions we keep to ourselves, exploring what we choose not to share out of fear, uncertainty, or the need to protect ourselves. Drawing from jazz and Fosse-inspired movement, the work blends intentional gestures, theatricality, and shifting moments of whimsy and weight to capture the tension between what is expressed and what remains unspoken. As hidden truths begin to surface, "Speak" reveals the vulnerability, complexity, and humanity that exist beneath the masks we wear.
Eric Mullis - Facests is a contemporary trio with a movement vocabulary that fuses Forsythe Improvisation Technologies with White Crane Kungfu.
